Appendix C: Event Types

Destination weddings are the primary focus. Four additional event types have been researched as future opportunities.

This appendix supports The Luxury Camp executive briefing. Return to the executive briefing for the summary.

Focus: Weddings first. The initial model targets 10 destination weddings per year at £50k net to CDT. The additional event types below were explored during research and represent genuine future upside — but they are not included in the Year 1–4 revenue projections. They are documented here to show that the venue's potential extends well beyond weddings once the model is proven.

D. “Mini-Glastonbury” — Private Festival (Future Opportunity)

Future High-yield weekend events for milestone celebrations

One of the fastest-growing sectors in UK luxury events. Post-pandemic, high-net-worth clients want festival energy with 5-star luxury.

Why Cultybraggan Crushes the Competition

Currently, clients spend £20,000–£40,000 on temporary infrastructure alone before buying a single drink:

Calendar Strategy (Future Vision)

The initial model uses only 10 peak-season weekends for destination weddings. Once the venue is proven, the calendar can expand:

SlotInitial Model (Years 1–5)Future Expansion
Fri–Sun (Peak: Apr–Oct)10 Destination Weddings+ Private Festivals
Fri–Sun (Off-Peak: Nov–Mar)Private Festivals, Birthdays, Brand Activations
Tue–Thu (Year-Round)Corporate Offsites, Wellness Retreats
The weddings-only model is deliberately conservative. These future event types represent significant additional revenue potential — but none of it is included in the £500k annual projection. They are upside, not dependency.
